Unfortunatly, I finished ALL of Smash 3DS. While I'm proud, It means that I've nothing to do until the next DLC. I want to learn Ryu, and could someone tell me how to power up the specials?

  • Ryu's moves can all be powered up by holding down the attack/special button for longer. You can input the original codes from Street Fighter to power up his up, side and neutral specials (these can be found by selecting Ryu to customise and then viewing his specials; an image of a control stick and the appropriate codes can be found). Hope this helps!!!

  • For Hadoken, do a forward semi-circle with the Circle Pad and then press A or B. Use a reverse semi-circle for Tatsumaki Senpuykayu (or whatever it's called). A Shakenetsu Hadoken is thrown by doing a half circle. Shoryuken requires a zigzag pattern. Focus Attack has no special commands.

  • To power-up his Specials, you gotta do the input commands from his previous games! Hadouken : Down, Down-Right, Right, A Shakunetsu Hadouken : Left, Left-Down, Down, Down-Right, Right, A Tatsumaki Senpyukaku : Down, Down-Left, Left, A Shoryuken : Right, Down, Down-Right, A All of these commands are used facing right, if you wanna battle me, then leave a friend request so I can show you some Ryu!

  • Thank you. I knew about the tap/hold stuff, but couldn't find the rest. (I've never played streetfighter, but Streetfighter 4 3D is my next game.)
