They're probably getting rid of Nintendo TVii because no body used it.

@dark lord the tvii community was where the WFUC(and probably others)were going to live on with off topic posts.and most of them don't want to have to move into the ytc(youtube community.)

I only use the nintendo tvii app few more times(at least 3-6 times of use) and I cannot watch anything on there while there's no option on how to watch videos in the first place.at least I can draw pictures which is a good thing and I wonder why that app is created anyway.

No one ever really used it. And it was pretty buggy anyway. One time about a year ago I used it for fun on the American Ninja Warrior finals and it kept spoiling things five minutes before it happened. And it was reaaaaaaaaally slow anyway.

Eh, just try it again in the future in a different way. I couldn't get the app to work on my set, but I REALLY wanted it to. TVii was a great idea, just redo it in the future.

I'm going to be honest here: I think that Nintendo is going through very hard times, partially due to the fact that there are many other competitors. With the loss of Iwata, the discontent with the Miiverse redesign, and now this, times are getting even tougher. Stay strong Nintendo!

Nintendo, stop discontinuing everything. I still want wifi back for Mario Kart Wii. Although Nintendo TVii was practically useless, this seems like Nintendo's giving a hint that they are going to shut down more services in the future. :(

It was actually pretty awesome with my old cable box, but wasn't compatible my xfinity x1box. Cell phones and tablets made the feature obsolete years ago anyways. Wish Nintendo tried to make the service better than those alternatives.
