07/25/2015 8:07 AM ·Spoilers
you guys do realize this is being pulled for diffrent reasons? Not just close an app stop worrying about miiverse shutting down and the 3ds/wii.u/other systems being replaced oki this is one app no big deal!
07/25/2015 8:11 AM ·Spoilers
wait a minute...if there closing down the tvii community and making it so we cant post in the activity feed, where will the WFUC go?i might HAVE to go into the ytc...
07/25/2015 8:12 AM ·Spoilers
They're probably getting rid of Nintendo TVii because no body used it.
07/25/2015 8:14 AM ·Spoilers
@dark lord the tvii community was where the WFUC(and probably others)were going to live on with off topic posts.and most of them don't want to have to move into the ytc(youtube community.)
07/25/2015 8:17 AM ·Spoilers
since nintendo is removing nintendo tvii they should make a wii u chat community or a pandora community
07/25/2015 8:18 AM ·Spoilers
noooo come on why i like watching nintendo tvii its amazing don't stop it please don'tstop it
07/25/2015 8:25 AM ·Spoilers
Such a shame! Why couldn't you just wait to let die with this console?
07/25/2015 8:33 AM ·Spoilers
I got my Wii U in early 2014. I never even activated the TVii feature.

I only use the nintendo tvii app few more times(at least 3-6 times of use) and I cannot watch anything on there while there's no option on how to watch videos in the first place.at least I can draw pictures which is a good thing and I wonder why that app is created anyway.
07/25/2015 9:04 AM ·Spoilers
good, it was just a pointless chatroom. youtube(and all other streaming services) community needs to get the same treatment

R.I.P Nintendo TVii you were out there for almost 3 years and you did Nintendo and Wii U a good service. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! Farewell
07/25/2015 9:34 AM ·Spoilers
Boo!!! First, Iwata, Then, Nintendo Video, Now This?!?? BOO!!!!
07/25/2015 9:38 AM ·Spoilers
This would make me sad if that update you guys released a while back hadn't made the application completely unusable.
07/25/2015 9:39 AM ·Spoilers
^ Dudes just chill. You are all so obnoxious! I mean really? Bring up Iwata's death over this! He Was A Person! This is just a service! What the heck Is wrong with you people?!
07/25/2015 9:44 AM ·Spoilers
They Should Add The Extra TV Remote Functions Of Nintendo TVIi To The TV Remote Button Like Jumping To Your Favorite Channel Or Turning Up Or Down The Volume Like The Onscreen Dial And Make A Separate App For The Program Guide Without Having To Go To The Internet Browser And Look It Up Even When The Service Is Closed Like Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection And Wiiconnect 24
07/25/2015 9:56 AM ·Spoilers
This is unusual. First nintendo video, then miiverse, now this? Soon, people can only play games, all the features are gone!
07/25/2015 9:58 AM ·Spoilers
Maybe I would have been sad about this if, you know, I COULD USE IT.
07/25/2015 10:04 AM ·Spoilers
COME ON PEOPLE THINK!!!! They made Chrunchyroll so they could remove Tvii
07/25/2015 10:05 AM ·Spoilers

No one ever really used it. And it was pretty buggy anyway. One time about a year ago I used it for fun on the American Ninja Warrior finals and it kept spoiling things five minutes before it happened. And it was reaaaaaaaaally slow anyway.

iwata die and now tviil noooo this cannot be happened rip tviil
07/25/2015 10:27 AM ·Spoilers
Are you just going to get rid of the Nintendo TVii community on Miiverse. Besides I do not want Nintendo TVii to be gone.
07/25/2015 10:30 AM ·Spoilers

07/25/2015 10:39 AM ·Spoilers
RIP nintendo tvii barely anyone used it it will not be forgotten
07/25/2015 10:43 AM ·Spoilers
Eh, just try it again in the future in a different way. I couldn't get the app to work on my set, but I REALLY wanted it to. TVii was a great idea, just redo it in the future.
07/25/2015 10:45 AM ·Spoilers
No! its going to be gone! :'-( (Lol I never even touched it. So i wont miss it)
07/25/2015 10:48 AM ·Spoilers
I'm going to be honest here: I think that Nintendo is going through very hard times, partially due to the fact that there are many other competitors. With the loss of Iwata, the discontent with the Miiverse redesign, and now this, times are getting even tougher. Stay strong Nintendo!
07/25/2015 10:55 AM ·Spoilers
I haven't used this app since the first day I got my Wii U. So I dont remember what it's use was.
07/25/2015 10:58 AM ·Spoilers
Meh. It never worked for me. It doesn't detects my Bell TV...
07/25/2015 11:05 AM ·Spoilers
So what's gonna happen to the TV button on the gamepad? Can't exactly get rid of those...
07/25/2015 11:08 AM ·Spoilers
Yeah... TVii didn't really take off. Hopefully we will get a new one that is better than TVii !
07/25/2015 11:16 AM ·Spoilers
@HMG It seems that a future update will remove the icon, as mentioned by the notifications area.
07/25/2015 11:17 AM ·Spoilers
Oh, you mean that thing that's completely useless unless you live in the United States? Much like Club Nintendo?... Getting rid of the region exclusive apps, great! Hope the replacements are little less racists...
07/25/2015 11:17 AM ·Spoilers

07/25/2015 11:35 AM ·Spoilers
my internet was always being bad at nighttime and what doese it matter about tvii anyways
07/25/2015 11:38 AM ·Spoilers
Nintendo, stop discontinuing everything. I still want wifi back for Mario Kart Wii. Although Nintendo TVii was practically useless, this seems like Nintendo's giving a hint that they are going to shut down more services in the future. :(
07/25/2015 11:41 AM ·Spoilers
It was actually pretty awesome with my old cable box, but wasn't compatible my xfinity x1box. Cell phones and tablets made the feature obsolete years ago anyways. Wish Nintendo tried to make the service better than those alternatives.
