Aww man. I was one of the few Wii U owners who actually used this function. It was innovative and cool. I loved watching WWE Wrestling and using the game pad as I was watching it.

Sarah to inform you, we have Youtube Netflix and Hulu Plus i used to watch nintendo Tvii, i loved it. People like youtube and other things now though. Also, may you please tell me Why you are shutting it down?

I know why there canceling it it's because nintendo has to keep on switching services and keep rebranding nintendo network to a new name they could come up with

For the next mario and luigi game, They should include guest stars (Sonic, tails, knuckles, amy, Spyro, mega man, pac man, Twilight sparkle and wreck it ralph) As playable characters as well as yoshi and peach, as a costumizible team.

Oh well. Nintendo TVii was a great idea, but alot of people never used it and it never got popular. You still have time to use it though, so make the most of it. Anyways, it's sad to hear that Nintendo TVii is ending after it's three years in service

I don't have cable, so I never had a chance to use it.

Hopefully this means it will be completely removed from the system OS, rather than being a dead button and mild waste of storage space like it has been in Europe.

I never used this service, and it was never available in my country to begin with. I think it's a good move, it's better to spend money and resources in games and services that are the focus of Wii U.

I almost never used Nintendo TVii since I first got my Wii U in late 2012, therefore I don't mind that it's going away. Before the system was released, it was hyped to compete with the other TV cable boxes, yet it's shutting down prematurely now. Who needs TV channels when we got Internet for allowing us to access pretty much every information TV would provide?

Europe never got it at all.

It stopped working for me, so maybe they're getting rid of it because it could be hard to maintain? I'm guessing that the tv remote will still work since that isn't an internet feature I think. Also they got rid of the fun things on there anyways for the shows I watched so it was gone to me for a long time already.

So this means no more Nintendo TVii Miiverse on Toonami.

Soooooooo....why did Nintendo drop the feature where you could use it to do an integrated search on neftlix, hulu, amazon, etc? THAT was one of the initial selling and cool points of the app that I actually utilized...i havent touched it since they removed that feature...
