    In a Turf War? It's not a waste of time, people should ink the base. In ranked, you shouldn't. It's kind of the point of the game :P

    if you ink the base at the start of a turf war it gives the enemy time to advance on you. what you SHOULD do at the start of a turf war is rush the other team and push them back. only ink the base if you get splatted or if your team is solidly in the lead.

    Actually, going straight into the opposing teams base is a really bad idea. You all will end up getting splatted, giving the other team a big advantage. The last about 1:50 should be for going into other bases.
