    Technically (If Inklings are evolved squids, which they are) their blood color is probably blue. That depends on if the color changed in the evolution.

    But it could be any color, because of the evolution. 1st place is blue, 2nd is probably red, and I don't have a third. Why not? I don't know.

    So, looks like their blood is blue because they use an oxygen-carrying molecule in their blood that contains copper. I think that means it would stay Blue after evolution, since it carries oxygen.
