actually, you know the times at the end of the japan trailer stated august 3rd ~ 8th? im not sure if that IS when the update is, but theres apparently some "Summer vacation child splatoon experience meeting" [rough translation...] happening within those days for 1 hour each day. so not sure if its guaranteed to come august 3rd
