im throwing this out there right now, the august update MIGHT not go live august 3rd, japan is having another global testfire throughout august 3rd to 9th for 1 hour each day. i google translated splatoonJP twitter and says something about "summer vacation child splatoon experience meeting", which im pretty sure is basically a global testfire.

    not sure if it'll be labeled as a global testfire this time, but it might... anyways, the reason they are doing it is so people have another chance at playing the demo before buying the game. and im saying it may not come august 3rd, but people are assuming it will, because at the end of the japan commercial, it states august 3rd ~ 9th
