    The more people with the adapter the better the internet is. The Adpater affects only the user. One person could have perfect internet with no lag while using the adapter while the person playing in the same battle could have awful lag without it. I live in a condo complex so I generally have awful connection but with the adapter it is improved by a noticeable amount. I would highly recommend it.

    maby i should try to get one...though i doubt it will help me my download speed and stuff are at 600kb per second

    I don't think it does anything with single player or downloading stuff, but I would highly recommend it for games like smash, Mario kart 8, Splatoon or any other online games.
