  • Everytime I lose a match, I look to see how I MESSED UP and how I CAN DO BETTER. I am normally A to A+, but am A- because of mistakes I MADE. I THREW the game!

  • Can actually get behind this one, I tire of seeing all the "I carry my team" posts. I do really well most of the time, and even if I did do a lot more than my teammates I'm not going go and say they're bad players or "idiots" as people often say. As long as they try I don't mind if we lose.

  • It's even more hilarious with Low- rankers (B or below)

  • Sometimes there's nothing you can do. If your team is standing next to the Splat Zone, and they're not inking it, it's not your fault. If you set up beacons everywhere, and they don't jump to it, it's not your fault. If they chase the other team instead of sticking with the tower, it's not your fault. These are all very common things that happen in Ranked Battles.

  • Beakons aren't great, they show where your gonna attack next. They only affect unaware teams. I love splatting people that keep coming from the same area cause of beakens. I don't destroy the beakons, just camp. More in TW though, cause the players skill levels are low.

  • It takes twice as long to get somewhere by swimming as is does to take a beacon. You waste so much time if you don't take one. If you have a good team, they'll set up a bunch of them. If you camp at a beacon, you're not helping your team. Just destroy it and move on. That way, they can't get there, and you can help your team. You can't camp in a Splat Zone or Tower Control game; there's no time.

  • I watch it. If beakons on left, I hold left, I see people come, and destroy them. No one really beakons anymore in A's though. Plus, getting Jumpcamped and die twice is worse than swimming. It takes 5 seconds between tapping the location and getting there. You have an info disadvantage. People don't use SuperJump right. They think they have to use it most times you respawn.

  • Twice as long is incorrect. Especially in stages like Skatepark and Walleye. Plus it's worth the couple seconds you lose than taken a big risk. You DON'T know what can happen in 5 seconds. What you thought was safe couldn't be. And just because you land safe doesn't mean you won't bd mobbed in a couple seconds.

  • Just destroy the enemy beacon and they can't jump there at all. If you're playing tower control or splat zone, you most definitely need beacons. If you got the tower all the way to the other end, and you all die, you have to swim all the way up there. If you have a beacon, you just jump. I've seen so many teammates die because nobody jumped to them to help.

  • A) If they died within 5 seconds than the jumper would have died too, plus a bomb can just be thrown in the middle of combat and you dead when you land, even if your teamate wins the engagement. B) What rank are you?

  • It's not necessarily jumping to them to help with combat. There could be a teammate half way down the map who doesn't have anyone around them. If you jump to them, you can help them out at a splat zone or at the tower. I'm talking about jumping in general. As for rank, I'm at B+. I was A- up until last night when I had a bunch of teams who kept running away from the objectives.

  • There I times when jumps are fine, people just use it to much. For example, if the whole other team is dead, than you are virtually garenteed a safe jump. End game pushes as well. I'm High A to Low/Mid A+ (Currently low A+)

  • Cool. Ranking is tough. I've had so many teammates who run off to the side of the map. A- is the highest I've been. In my experience, the teams who win are the ones who can move the fastest. If you have the tower in the other team's base, you want to keep it there, so you jump to your team. You definitely want to check the map to see if they're being overrun, but jumping is the fastest way back.

  • When I was A-, I didn't see people run off the edge but ok... And yes, another super jump time is when you are really close to taking the lead, keep jumping to edge the tower over, and hopefully not die when you spawn (unlikely) This can be seen as the final push if there is even 45 seconds left, because the could have there goal distance down to something like 2.

  • What if you cover 75% of the map by yourself while they just walk around not spraying Ink? because that happens to me a lot
