O.k. So now I know about Senran Kagura 2. Would I miss out on anything storywise if I go from this game to that? Or is there another game I need to play to get caught up.

    Not sure, but I'd imagine a mix of yes and no. The game takes place right at the ending of the first one. I'd be surprised if it didn't go over some things from Burst, but I highly doubt it'd give you everything. I'd say, play Burst first for the best experience, but if not, you won't be completely lost in SK2. Worse case senario, watch the anime, although it is very inaccurate to the games story.
