darmani's color was gray acutely and he must've had a scar when he was alive

We don't know if Dramani had that scar when he was alive or not. Dramani died from falling off Mt. Snowpeak so it's possible that the scar could be from the impact wound that killed him.

Darmani was probably a regularly-colored Goron while he was alive, but the costume's color scheme is based on Darmani while he is a ghost.
