    The charge combo is executed by going into the pause screen and pressing R to pull up Samus's status. Scroll to Beams and set it up so that only Charge and Wave are on, shutting off Ice and Spazer (for now). Note that when selecting Power Bombs, you're still able to use beam attacks. Charging while Power Bombs are active with such a Beam setup will trigger a Charge Combo, in this case X-Factor.
