IMPORTANT ANOUNCEMENT FOR PLAYERS ONLINE WONDERING ABOUT NETWORK LINKS You can only get benefits from people helping your network link while you're online at the same time they help you. Let's make sure that the developers change this so that you can get rewards for network links while offline. You can yeah this so that maybe they'll see this while also spreading the word about network links.

    That isn't true: you do NOT need to be online at the same time. I've tested it with an alternate account on my Wii U, and rewards can be sent to each other. The other player should receive their Network Link reward the next time they connect to the network. It's just that the system is very unreliable at sending Network Link rewards.

    Yeah, it's a pretty poor system. I've gotten maybe 1 out of 5 rewards sent to my other Wii U account through the Network Link system. It'd be nice if they could fix it, but I think the developers are done with the game for the most part.
