    I think if it was Ichigo from the save Rukia arc vs Naruto from the Sage Mode arc, it would be more fair.

    Well, yeah, but you can't make an weaker version of a character fight a stronger version character. (That's why SSG Goku shouldn't be the one to fight Superman, It should be SSJ4)

    I know. But Ss4 is close to SSG, and SSG has a second form to it. Aside from that, Superman can't be beat by either of those forms.

    Actually, SSJ4 is the strongest form. When Goku is fighting Beerus, SSG wears off. After a bit, the two are talking and Beerus says "It seems your body was able to learn from the experience, so you didn't lose much power." So SSG isn't really close.

    What you're saying is only making me think SSG is stronger. SSG is so strong, the power increases Goku's potential. SSJ4 couldn't come close to besting Omega Shenron when SSG could nearly take Beerus out. Depends whether or not you believe Beerus, who scared even Shenron, could win or lose against Omega Shenron.

    Yeah BUT... "Your body learned from the experience" When Beerus said that, Goku was at SSJ2 (I think. Might have been one) Since this was during the Buu Saga (Weird, right? The exact time was between 592 and 593) Goku would be even stronger by the time he could go to 4.

    Oh now I see what you mean. But Toriyama wrote Battle of Gods without GT in mind. I mean, if he could go SSG in GT, then SSJ4 would be stronger. But assuming they are two different time lines, I would believe they are very close in power.
