The August update for Splatoon is huge! I knew it was supposed to be a big one, but didn't realize how big they were making it. Really interested in trying the Slosher weapons. Fully customized private battles. Major level increases in ranked and unranked battles. And still more free content later! All I can say is 'Wow!' Nintendo! This is how you do DLC right to keep people interested in a game!

    GoNintendo has the press release up with the full update info. Comes on Aug 5, I believe. I didn't mention the gatling weapons because I'm more interested in the sloshers. lol

    Because you are getting new content downloaded. Its not just bug fixes. Its new weapon types, new game modes, new clothing items for your inkling, new maps to play in, etc. That's definitely DLC...just for FREE. :D
