I'll make a post to organize our play sessions when it gets closer to the 6th. We could also use it to set up some strategies as well. Even some simple planning before hitting the splattlefield will go a long way.

Even just telling everybody to not go in by themselves is a good start... I know nearly everybody knows to do that, but actually knowing that other people will do it would be a great start. Not like I even go in. I'm a sniper. You guys do all the dirty work, but I still end up with the most kills. XD

I'm hoping the basic Splatling is available to people below level twenty...

Even just traveling in pairs would work wonders. The only risk is in both of you being splatted, but other than that, your firepower is essentially doubled, increasing your chances of coming out of a scrape the victor. Plus, some more advanced tactics could be possible like this. One person as bait, the other hidden. That way, if you come up on an enemy, you have an instant ambush opportunity.

I'm liking the sound of this... That would give a whole new level of strategy to using the roller.

Ooh, and I'm a ninja squid. They can't see me swimming. Although Gatling guns aren't the best surprise weapons.

Does that help all that much? I can barely see anyone when they're swimming, and I'd rather have the extra speed than the added stealth. Stealth jump is very good, though. I like my ink resistance boots because my bad Wi-Fi sometimes doesn't load ink properly meaning I stand in enemy ink a lot when I shouldn't, but add a speed ability and you're back at normal speed super jump speed.

I am the definition of a ninja. I frequently fight by myself, go the back route and splat from behind, and go on kamikaze runs. Lots of kamikaze runs. Doesn't matter, though, they're always a success.

My skills are ink resistance up on my red Converse, ninja squid, and squid swim speed up. I have three small quick jump speed skills, equalling one large, and three small respawn time skills, equalling one large as well. Both for my kamikaze runs. There's a reason I stopped at three, I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with the skill mechanics. I also have two special gauge savers and one

special weapon time up. My average match has me finishing with 12-18 splats and 8-12 deaths. I also like to say I'm good at the inkzooka, not meaning to toot my own horn or anything.

That seems like it would all fit together. The best gear for a sniper is an ink recovery up and a main ink saver. Defense isn't needed because if someone gets close yo you, it's pretty much game over regardless of how many hits it takes to splat you. Strength isn't needed as all of your shots OHKO everybody allready. Quick jump is nice for when someone decides to make it their mission to get to...

I haven't played as much as you guys, but let's just say I am a very fast ninja. It's a lot more helpful than it seems, especially in ranked battles where covering the enemy's ink isn't as important.

Your high perch and splat you. I also have a bunch of speed up abilities because that's the abilities I got randomly assigned. I plan on working more on my gear after the update. Like I said, I could do it now, or wait until everything I do helps me level up.

Well, speed up is good for everyone. Helps you run away faster.

I really hope the points of gotten since getting to level 20 is added after the update. It should be possible... I've already spent the 500,000g needed to rerole skills. Hence why mine suit my play style.

Plenty of new gear is coming. I'll just wait until then and not worry about snails or reroling. Besides, I've missed both Splatfests...

I didn't miss either, but I had already gotten my skills. I did win both times, so I have 16 leftover snails. Eh. I'm a fan of the Amiibo hairclip on the girl inkling, nothing can beat Converse, and I like short sleeve t-shirts with ninja squid. Of which there is one. I doubt my gear will change. It'll hurt if it does, though.

Oh well. If you waited to get that, you could've gotten to level 23 alongside that shiny A-.

But as it stands, I'll get to level 23 with a shiny A instead.
