Here's what I'd like to see by way of amiibo support in this game at some point: I think it wouldn't be too much to handle the other amiibo the same way Mario Kart 8 does. Say I tap my charizrd amiibo and get an awesome looking Charizard shirt for my inkling, or my Samus and get a cool armcannon weapon. I feel like it's a good but not unreasonable way to reward those that haven't given up on them

    That's why they should be rewarding people for willing to shell out the extra money for amiibo. Get one on amazon for cheap if your fetish needs to be fulfilled that badly.

    It's not necessarily about the school uniform. They should've at the very least made them available through Spyke. The scalpers and availability issues don't help at all. Face it, this is glorified physical DLC. Smash did it right by not making it necessary to complete the game %100. If I wanted all the gear, I need to shell out AT LEAST $35 (half the game's worth).

    Yeah, and i feel like i was rewarded well for my diligence in obtaining the ammibo that got me that gear. It really wasn't THAT hard either, just had to get up a little earlier than usual. Ultimately I'm sure they'll release them to be purchased another way just to appease the butthurt people that didn't get the amiibo.

    Me too, that's why i drove to the store to get mine, much quicker. But for those that DO have to try that hard and even for those just willing to spend the money on ones they can, find I feel like it isn't too much to ask that a little extra reward for your time and money such as a single piece of gear. Even if people get a little miffed that they can't have it, guess what? That's good business.

    It's going to make people think more about getting them, thereby causing more of a demand, possibly more of a supply, and ultimately more revenue for Nintendo that will help them see they need to handle this all better. Personally i have no issue getting a nifty collectible that comes with the DLC, and ultimately that's where we differ, so thanks for discussing it so in depth with me!
