    Splatfests are festival-like events that only happen at certain dates, usually a saturday. You have to choose between two teams, depending on your preference between two options, and fight for that team. You can choose your team on the week following up to the splatfest.

    I don't know when the next Splatfest will be held but when there is one, a booth will appear in the game and you will be able to choose which team you want to be on.
