    Just to clarify I really enjoy playing games on the go on my 3DS but Splatoon would not work on a portable system like that in part due to the more uncomfortable controller and it would suffer even more connection problems. Also I feel Splatoon looks its best in HD and the Wii-U really needs exclusives to stay relevant, so I was just shaking my head when Hyrule Warriors got a 3DS port.

    Also game franchises like Pokémon and Fire Emblem do great on the handheld of the time and would gain virtually no benefit from a main series home console release. However spinoffs like Pokkén Tournament, Wii-U release please Nintendo.
