I think this is a Easter Egg! By making the hoop, you can hear inklings, such as "Neah na!" (Pressing A next to inklings in inkopolis) "Somebody Help Me!" (Heard when players say C'mon or "Booyeah!" sometimes in single player after picking up upgrade/weapon)
