    Hadn't seen that, thanks for the heads up! I'm planning to, been getting pretty excited about it too! :D The cards are looking amazing and there's already talk of long distance trading. lol Still haven't seen a Static card... Have you been checking the HHD community? Lots of great posts from Japanese players.

    Also wanted to mention, a friend shared a site with me where they opened 5 packs of Japan series 1. Only one duplicate!! Pretty exciting news as I feared repeats would be common. Also seems rumors of the special edition XL becoming available outside of Japan are popping up.

    I'm so happy right now! Gamestop put the NFC reader bundle up and it's only $10 more than buying the game seperately! :D With my gift card I'll only be paying about $25 for everything! That's also great because now I can save my Best Buy gift card to get the Princess Leia or Mulan Disney Infinty figure! ^^ I don't have the game but I like collecting some of the figures.

    Have you heard about the ROB, Duck Hunt and Game and Watch amiibos? They're going to be exclusive to Gamestop and they apparently won't be sold seperately. The preorders start on the 8th, which is this Saturday. Gamestop will be open at 9 am so if you want them I suggest going early! I don't think I'll get the 3-pack but I might get ROB later.

    Only paying $25, nice! I saw a note earlier that another retailer had it for $42.99, so I might shop around a little, before I settle on a place. Extremely pleased with the price point! My only question left about buying this or a new console is whether or not we'll get the Special Edition and will there eventually be exclusive content? (The debate in my head continues :p)

    I did, been seeing posts on Twitter about it this week. Really a surprising move, but thinking it's probably going to boost sales a bit. Probably going to pass on this one, gotta save some funds for all the games coming out this fall. Duck Hunt is quite tempting though. :p

    I think that was Costco that had it for 42.99. I love shopping there! I usually go there like two or three times a week. ^^ Have there ever been exclusive content just for the special themed console? That seems unfair to everyone else. xP Apparently we are getting the themed 3DS!

Some people might only want one out of the three and put the rest on Ebay/Amazon and resellers would put all of them out at once, so there might be a overstocked market.

    May have been Costco. Oh sorry, I was meaning exclusive content for the New 3DS XL. Like the Xenoblade Chronicles 3D release. I think Reggie talked about future exclusive content for the New 3DS XL sometime after e3. Thanks for that article! Glad to see it's finally confirmed! :D That's a good point about the 3 pack, hopefully those unwanted Amiibo will be showing up at decent prices!

    The HHD New 3ds is available for preorder at Gamestop! I think it might be Gamestop exclusive. http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/consoles/nintendo-new-3ds-animal-crossing-happy-home-designer-bundle/125091 The cards are on Gamestop's website, but they're not preorderable yet. I think I might buy individual cards off Ebay. I only want like 5 from the first wave anyway.

    Did you order it? One way to look at it is that what you're losing in size, you're gaining in customization. You can change the look of it with the cool new faceplates. :) Did other DS versions have those too? I remember some kind of paper thing you could (I think) put between a 3ds cover and the console?

    I didn't, just don't think I could go back to the smaller size. Those faceplates are very tempting though! Faceplates for older DS versions? I think so. I had a clear snap on cover that was kind of like a faceplate for my DS. I've saw a snap on faceplate that looks like the HHD design, but not sure what system it was intended for.

    Hi! Sorry I keep dropping in and out. xP DId you get HHD? I was going to, but I bought my friend a surprise present instead with part of the money. I'm going to either find it on Ebay or trade in more games at Gamestop for it. Oh, have you heard about Nintendo's contest? They'rehave a contest to pick the room that best fits their theme. This time it's like "The Sweetest Room Ever".
