    I think that's the first time I heard a music cut glitch in a Pikmin game, good find.

    It happens rarely with this boss, but it usually happens if you use bomb rocks on the Scornets. Also, about 20% of the time, when battling Vehemoth Phosbat in story mode, the music will cut off after you light up the big bulb and start the real fight. I also didn't experience it until version 2.0.0. It seems like I'm the only one who's had these glitches happen. Weird...

    Some other glitches I found are Pikmin floating in midair, likely because of tall hitboxes. The places that these glitches happen are on the deactivated yellow Onion, the S.S Drake, and the Folded Data Glutton when the Meerslug is about to appear. There's also a rare glitch that causes Pikmin to walk in midair. It's weird, but it has something to do with Arctic Cannon Beetles.

    Look at my journal entries, about the music cutting of at the Formidable Oak. And how in the world can the floating pikmin glitch be related to arctic cannon beetles when you posted a picture of it happening when none where around?

    When it happened, it was after a Cannon Beetle shot a snowball at me. Maybe it can happen with other enemies, I dunno.
