I'm starting to do more expeditions. Just because I need the points for upgrades and what not. For the most part, I really don't need any new GQ's but it's always nice if a good one is stumbled upon. After all, I'm still seeking some perfect relic gear down the road once I've crafted everything else I want!

  • I always get stiffed on relics. Its like trying to grind for the worlds most rarest artifact

  • Or more accurately, it's like playing MH games. Oh Desire Sensor, those in the know fear you. Seriously, just keep doing the rare double quests and you'll get lucky. My 2 Jho's is especially generous and I plan on leveling it for farming purposes this weekend. Come on down!

  • I don't know if/when I'll come back to this game, but expeditions is where it's at. Relics of all sorts is never ending and the only monsters that are challenging are those one hit 140 wonders etc when you're in a good team. Hope you're having great fun!

  • Haha Josh have fun with your 2 Jho ;) I would only go Apex if I'd join, so better not ... Relic weapons or armor is what keeps this game going. I have 2 perfect Relic weapons with max attack and max status/element and many nearly perfect ones. I wouldn't need another weapon, but what about finding a new one XD

  • I rarely made expeditions early in the game, now it's the only purpose in single player. I always need points, meteor crystals, and they are very fun to try out different armor/weapon combinations.

  • Yeah I started going again when I noticed I had a super high Attack switch blade I'd picked up just having fun against my 140 Jho with 360 poison and defense to boot. Seemed like it was worth upgrading since it has a little purple and loads of white.

  • I am picky though as I like honing for defense, kind of important to me when dealing with some of the crazier fights I enjoy. But 35 defense included works too. Also gotten some nice guns with pierce shots that I'm curious to try out.

  • when you max the defense of your best armor with Divine Spheres then you don't need a defense boost. When you faint with a def. of 790 then you'll also faint with a def. of 850. Yesterday in the Crimson Fatalis event a player was 1 shot with a def. above 900 .....

  • Yeah, I like it because I can basically not heal as quickly. In most cases the monsters do more ancillary damage to me and I'm able to avoid the big hits that whipe out loads of health in 1 shot. Plus I love peace of mind. Most of my sets I have at 750-790 anyway.
