    Then you have the wrong mask. One upgrade is mask of truth, the other is skeleton mask.

    Might be a bit late, but I just remembered about a peculiar glitch that isn't exclusive to the VC version. They only fixed it in the 3DS remake. Basically, once you have gotten the poachers saw, you're locked out from getting that Deku Nut upgrade. Should've gotten it beforehand.

    In all versions of Ocarina of Time getting the potchers saw before getting the upgrade it becomes unable to get.

    Except 3DS Version, but now if you want that upgrade you'll unfortunately have to start a new adventure file maybe after deleting your current one. Sorry about that.
