    I always get the Biggoron's Sword after the Fire Temple. A couple of jump attacks on Morpha and about 4 jump attacks on Bongo Bongo take 'em right out.

    The side quest sword can not break. I did it on my N64 console and it does not break. the 200 rupee sword will break
