Captain's Journal, D4: As expected, today was a tough day. A monster attacked us, and even though we defeated it with minimal casualties, I will not sleep soundly for those 3 soldiers who fell at my command. Luckily, we managed to be quick and efficient, and the monster was defeated with enough time to spare for retrieving the carcass, the fruit it held, and the transmitter that let us there.
