Question

Just noticed that even though only the Skylander mode works in Superchargers or both of the Nintendo characters, the box is still marked for amiibo compatibility. What do you think it means?

    theres a switch on the bottom of the base to switch it to skylander mode or amibo mode.

    But the amiibo mode doesn't work in the Skylanders games, so do you think it could mean something more? Could the amiibo mode unlock something small in the final product that we don't know about?

    exactly so the amibo mode is for smash, mario kart 8 and other games.

    But it also says that there is amiibo compatibility in Superchargers. This could either mean the "skymiibo" both unlock something not announced yet, or it just means the figures work as Skylanders.
