I guess my biggest problem with lost world is its lack of focus. Let compare it to mario 3d world.

In mario 3d world you run around 3d stages collecting green stars to open new worlds. Ok. In sonic lost world you run around tubular 3d stages collecting red rings, and animals to open new zones. Ok simple eno-. And you have to complete 2d stages. What i thought this was a 3d sonic game not 2d. And-

    And you have to complete one off gimicky stages (Cant stop running, snow ball, cant stop grinding) which have completly different control schemes. What! Just stick to one gameplay style. Why do you think colors was so good. Because they picked one, and went all out. Its so simple.

    I agree. It would have been nice if each world had gimmicks that fit with the 3D level design. Not replacing the designs for entirely new ones. Grinding could have worked in normal 3D stages (like SA2, Heroes, Shadow, and onwards), 2D could have been for maybe bonus stages, or short running sections that lasted a few seconds, the Wisps could have been a bit better, and a little less Mario themes.
