    its a disease that affects a pokemon's xp. its a rare thing but the effected pokemon gains 1.5x more xp?

    Yeah, it only doubles EVs from battle. It has no effect on EXP. Basically, an infected pokemon's stats will increase to their max potential faster than normal. It has a good chance of not being contagious anymore if the pokemon is in your party at midnight. As long as it's contagious, it can spread pokerus to nearby party members after a battle.
