    What vehicle combination are you using? Light characters on a bike is the best way to practice on 200cc. Also, braking while drifting through corners helps a lot too.

    CPUs can be beaten with any character. Winning 200cc is a matter of control rather than just speed alone. Not to mention, the weight physics are strange. I've been shoved off stage by a light character while using a heavy character. The race lines you need to win 200cc are different from 150cc or lower. All you need to do is practice. I recommended light characters because of more control.

    light characters have more craziness but heavy characters push down the vehicle so it is slower it's kind of obvious!

    A medium weight character would be a good balance of speed and acceleration. My opinion here may be a bit biased though since I main Yoshi. The combination I used to complete all of 200cc with a 3 star rank was Yoshi +Yoshi Bike+Slick tires+ Super Glider. Stat wise it is almost 4 bars in speed and 3 bars in acceleration. You can give that a try if you want.
