  Yep. pretty much. Its ethier have extremely dumb luck with combos, Or get extremely lucky with combos and able to beat the game. THE ENEMIES SHOULD NOT DEAL THIS MUCH DAMAGE!!! IM JUST AT WORLD 3!!! SAVE THAT KINDA DAMAGE UNTIL WORLD 8!!! I MEAN GOSH!!!

  As you progress even further into the game, you will gain access to characters who offer stronger ATK multipliers. Until then, you'll just have to utilize the skills of your party members. For an example, Fox Luigi's skill nullifies Fire attribute damage for 1 turn.

  The skills are pretty useful but take far too many prep turns to truly be useful... At least that's my opinion. Maybe the PnDZ side's spoiled me a bit.

  @Swerve: Maybe during the early parts of the game, but as you progress further into the game, you'll eventually get the items that you need to level up the skills of your party members. At least you're able to use continues in the Super Mario Bros. side; you don't get any second chances in Puzzle & Dragons Z.

  Still, as painful as some of the courses may be, at least you can use continues to resume a battle that you've been defeated at. In Puzzle & Dragons Z, one defeat means that you have to restart the dungeon all over again, and it's also harder for the fact that there aren't any sub-attributes either.

  @Alex: Maybe the fact that sub-attributes are almost non-existent, AND if you get defeated even once, you have to restart the dungeon all over again. And yes, there are monsters who can deal over 10000 damage to you, no matter how strong your party is.
