Is it possible to get over 60 HP or that's the highest HP you can ever get? I ask this because I saw Warriors and Berserkers (The only classes that they have high HP) that have over 60 HP.

I think its technically possibly to get a unit's HP to 80 but you need insane RNG blessings as well as several Angelic Robes.

All classes cap HP at 60, but enemies in the Arena (and certain bosses) disregard the caps.

Well I try to give Dart at least 65 HP but I find out it's not possible give your units over 60 HP in this game. In Awakening, if some units are in base class like a Fighter, Mercenary, or Lord, their max HP would be 60. No more than that. However if some units are in advance class like Hero, Swordmaster, or Great Lord, their HP are over 60. That would mean that their maximum HP is 80.

Ok yeah, that makes sense. I think Awakening was the first game in the series to have a player unit cap at 80 HP. (Although you could have 85 HP if you have the HP+5 skill equipped).

^ Genealogy of the Holy War has had every class in the game with an HP cap of 80.

Really? I didn't know that Fire Emblem 4 let's you have 80 HP instead of 60 HP. I guess Awakening took that idea from Fire Emblem 4.

Awakening took many ideas from FE4, most of which I feel are better executed in Awakening. I'm sorry to those who like Geneology, but I honestly don't.

Child characters were better balanced in FE13, but were pointless to have for the most part. In contrast, every skill that was in FE4 was better applied in that game as opposed to FE13. Vantage for instance, was the same. Wrath on the other hand was pretty useful when it came to it in FE4 and pretty useless in FE13. Not to mention, Nihil actually existed in FE4 and didn't in FE13.

What does Nihil do anyway? I know it appears in Fire Emblem 4 and Radiant Dawn. But that's all I know.

In any game but FE4, Nihil simply negates whatever Skills the enemy has. But in FE4 itself, it negated crits and effective bonuses. However, according to the description on Serenes Forest, the only skills it negated in that game were Sol, Luna, and Astra.

Genealogy of the Holy War wasn't that great of a game. Le me clarify: its a good game, but its not amazing. I didn't like how the maps were too big and i didn't like how you were practically forced to have units fall in love unless you wished to get weaker substitutes for the gen 2 characters. In FE13, the only person who was forced to marry was Chrom and you could safely play through the rest of

game wihtout recruiting the rest of the gen 2 units since you wouldn't get penalized in the long run. The same applies to Fates but in Fates, marriage is completely optional which is why i don't see why people complain about marriage in FE13 and FE14 in the first place. As a big FE fan, i love all FE games and again, FE4 is good. But its not as amazing as people make it out to be.

BTW my favorite game in the Fire Emblem series is The Binding Blade. I played it the first time to see just how bad it is (i was told by several people that Roy and his game were the worst) and i ended up actually enjoying it. Binding Blade isn't even remotely close to being as bad as people say. Sure, its got its flaws but its a great game. And Roy is great too both as a unit and a character.

So that's what Nihil does, it lowers the Critical rate and stops any skills that will do harm... I think I get it.

Technically, Nihil, even in FE4 only negates skill activation, since the ability to crit as well as double attack are skills in FE4.

That reminds me of a skill from Awakening called Dragonskin. It stop 2 skills from doing any harm. The one-hit kill move that only assassins carry but I don't know how to spell it. Another Skill called Counter that if an enemy lands at hit, than the damage you got will also do the same damage as the enemy did. Both of them are useless if an enemy is equip with the Dragonskin skill.

@Armagon: Sharlow and Leyla are arguably superior to Corple and Lynn. Not to mention, Altena, Shanan, Ares, and Seliph were your fail-safes, and Leif should be able to function with just a promotion to Master Knight. Getting weaker substitutes isn't as bad as you make it sound.
