    Ok, I actually do hate LTTP with a burning passion, but the graphics and sound are not problems. It's its legacy and gameplay that I heavily despise.

    Lol. It's not the worst Zelda. Maybe to you it is, because you're probably younger. But if you grew up with that game, trust me. It's one of the best. IMO, ALttP is the best game of all time.

    Wyatt/Frosty, I'm 14 and I can enjoy Snes games. In LLTP, everything does way too much damage. I literally cannot survive for 5 minutes. Who cares if an overworld is nonlinear and all if it's so big it takes minutes to get anywhere! Longer than Wind Waker! Required areas are normally blocked off completely besides one tiny little corridor far from it.

    That was the beauty of old school Nintendo. They didn't hold your hand like they do nowadays. You had to figure it out yourself. I'm sure you've heard of the phrase "Nintendo-hard". And the controls are so tight and flawless that if you died, it was your fault and you only had yourself to blame for not understanding how to beat the enemy/boss.

    Random falling rocks and sparatic enemies is fair? Isn't that the equivalent of calling a match between Magicarp VS Death Star fair? I've played my fair share of n64, ps2, GameCube etc, those didn't hold your hand either yet I could easily play them. LTTP is impossible for anyone that's not a 90's kid to enjoy.

    I'll give you the falling rocks, but most enemies had a pattern to them, and your shield blocked almost all projectiles. And yes, modern Zelda games do in fact hold your hand and are really easy to beat nowadays. The only times I've had trouble with anything in a modern Zelda game are some bosses and final bosses. That's really it.

    Now I'm not saying there is anything WRONG with Zelda being easier and slightly linear, it's still a blast to play most of the time. But sometimes it can be really boring and predictable. I so wish Zelda U is more unpredictable with it's enemies and bosses.

    I know they hold your hand, but I overall find WW, SS, OOT, MM, and LBTW much more enjoyable. I hate LTTP's legacy most of all. I think it's unfair to bomb on the newer and IMO better games because it isn't as ridiculously difficult as LTTP. I was playing the GBA version, though, so I might have to get on VC for a better time. I do like the open world, though I wish it was overall faster,LBTWfixes

    They are more enjoyable to a story view. The story in ALttP was good, but the cinematics in more modern Zelda's appeal to more people, thus they are so popular. I have a love hate relationship with almost all Zelda's, but ALttP takes the cake for me because of Nostalgia and difficulty.

    ALttP was good, but it started the series linearity and copy paste game conventions that made later games feel played out. The only truly open Zelda games that allowed you to go anywhere and advance how you wanted was Zelda 1and 2.

    That's the problem. You are not used to old games. Get used to them just like I did. I was born on 1998, you don't see me complaining about the original NES Ninja Gaiden being a bad game or Crono Trigger being the worst game ever because they are old. ALttP was something special, new and innovative but was forgotten by its sequels. The things that were awesome now are weird.. for the younger fans.
