Day 4 of the 10 Day Run has improvements. Got 10 fruits and grew my Yellow Pikmin from 25 to 66. That will make getting them to 100 easier, as well as make day 5 easier. For some reason my reds and rocks are above 100, but that's actually even better!

    I can suggest another good strategy off Youtube. Type in - 'Pikmin 3 low run'- and look for videos posted by 'Ice Cube'. His videos are insane, he's done a 46 Pikmin run and a 64 Pikmin run. Check them out if you want some extra strategy ideas.

    Ice Cube is another awesome speedrunner, but he sometimes is so fast I can't see what he's doing. It's really more about the luck elements. Stupid Whiptongue Bulborb, I hate having 6 Rock Pikmin...

    I'm guessing you have to use glitches to do the low Pikmin run. That's why I'll never do it. Why not combine the low Pikmin run with the 7 Day run and just get the Crimson Banquet? Have a triple low completion.

    You're right...maybe I can have a TOTAL LOW%, that'd be much easier! Do as little as possible lol. I have been interested in Any%, so maybe I'll try a 7 Day Run instead. Btw this game is glitched more than you think-you can tell it's Pikmin 1's sequel's sequel. Why? A dying enemy crushed SEVEN of my Pikmin! (Arctic Cannon Larva!)

    In this case... 20 Red Pikmin: Required for day 1 6 Rock Pikmin 20 Yellow Pikmin 10 Winged Pikmin 1 Blue Pikmin (you hardly need blues for any%...but the final boss...I don't have my 100 Rock Pikmin!)

    You actually had a crushing glitch in Pikmin 3? I've only ever encountered that problem for the first game. Weird. Anyways, good luck with your run! Let me know how it goes.

    So far I've had the most awful RNG ever...a Pikmin glitched through the wall in the Mawdad arena, the Cannon Larva crushed 7 Pikmin, (well, it's only the one at the top of the slope that does that...) and I had Pikmin lost to Phosbats and Vehemoth Phosbat. Jeez, now I'm thinking about returning to 100%...

    Well...actually, it didn't take long. I completed a 7 Day Run, no breaks, only 2 deaths, in 2 hours, 3 fruits. (Ignore the final report timer. This is an SS run.) I can't believe I had the stamina to do this...

    I'm going to try the 65 Pikmin Run again, just to see if I'm ready for it. If Day 3 isn't a piece of trash this time, I might continue. I'm also working on 8 day runs with Pikmin 2 and challenge mode in Pikmin. (I have a FOH high score of 495, IS is 239, FN is 336, DS is 330, and FT is 221.) Btw maybe in Pikmin I'll try for 1-day Distant Spring, on day 5. It seems easier...

    The 8 Day run for Pikmin 2 is pretty easy. The berry sprays and Purple Pikmin are a big help, plus the time doesn't pass by in caves. I find the challenge mode for the first Pikmin game to be quite hard actually. Never really been to keen on it. I like the Pikmin 3 challenges or 'Mission Mode' the best out of the three.

    I've done an 8 day run before, but I'm using a bunch of new strats this time. I really don't know how I got so good at Pikmin's challenge mode. Then again, it took me a while to defeat my first Spotty Bulbear and after I figured it out I loved the game.

    The problem I have with the first Pikmin's challenge mode is that there's no goal to aim for. They should have put a metre along the top like in Pikmin 3, showing a top number to aim for. For example, grow 250 Pikmin for a platinum medal.

    Wow! 8 days! I can't remember, but I think you said you have the Wii version right? Cool stuff. My record still sits at 9 days. Still haven't tried to tackle the 6 day run again.

    So how hard was it to pull off? Did you use that Chronos Reactor glitch, or is there a way to get around that? I'm not a big fan of using glitches myself. You seem to encounter a lot of funny ones in Pikmin 3.
