    The really big combos do rely on luck from drops. No way around that. But if your average combo count is really low, you might just need more practice with combos. It does get easier when you play this more.

    Cool, thanks. Yeah I got this game but haven't played it enough...there've been so many awesome games this year. i'm gonna work on bigger combos

    Yeah, that's probably most of it, not playing it a lot. I was bad at it at first too, but I got better at it. And if Mario's hardness and difficulty curves get to you, just switch for to Z. Z is easier, and nowhere near as grindy.

    I beg to differ with Puzzle & Dragons Z's difficulty, since there aren't any continues, and sub-attributes hardly exist at all.
