If it helps, Roy's high defense can be pierced with Shield Break or Giga Crush. Those two skills make him much easier to take out, since his HP is actually on the low side.

Yes! I eventually figured that out, but not before failing quite a few times. I acquired a Bullet Bill and grinded a few levels to get him upgraded all the way to King Bullet. His special is devistating to those high defense enemies.

I have mostly been playing the game above. It's a Mario themed Puzzle & Dragons game. I didn't think I would like it but it turns out that I LOVE IT!!
