    I only used the ship once. I kept crashing in to everything. You can do ground missions by using a Wiimote & Nunchuk when you play.

    It's been a while since I played, but I think you just choose the on-foot mission when you start the Metroid Blast game, and it'll show you how.

    It's true. I just looked up a video to remind myself how. Go to the Metroid game, choose Assault Mission, 1 Player, then choose Battle On Foot.
