To add insult to injury, there's nothing you can do to nullify its attack, as it pierces through "every" defensive option that you can use. Not even the enemies in the Super Mario Bros. Edition have that kind of power.

Well, Thwomps are almost superior, especially in the extra worlds, but there's no DEF in Mario ._.

The Thwomps' attacks can still be nullified or absorbed, so if you play your cards right, you could potentially defeat one without taking any damage. Sadly, you can't nullify the Anubisis's attack, as it pierces even the skills that nullify dark attribute damage, making it one of the most unforgiving monsters ever in Puzzle & Dragons Z, and it gets even worse when you have to face two of them.
