Here will be my log on my second challenge run of The Wind Waker, as well as my entry in the long-term part of Nintendoer's Challenge Challice. The rules are fairly simple: no heath upgrading items (including bottles and Magic Armour), hero mode turned on, and you must wear the Hero's Charm whilst defeating Ganondorf. It is worth 70 points.

    Minish cap is one of the Zelda games I sadly haven't completed... Yet I do own it. I've gotten through the first dungeon, but apart entry life doesn't want me to go any further. I always stay a decent distance away from the head. Not sniping distance, but not close-range either. I also keep circling, something you can't do against BB, partially why I think Gohdan is better.

    I've always tried to get around Bongo Bongo to see what the rest of him looks like, but I never do it in time. Did they even program the other side of him?

    Hmm... That sounds interesting to try. Maybe repeatedly replay the fight in the guantlet or datamining the game would answer that question, not that one is more efficient but harder and one is possiblem without equipment...

    A jumpstrike from an unarmoured Darknut armed with a Moblin's lance OHKO'd me, but my handy dandy fairy kept me in for another round where I got a heart shaved off. Not bad, but I could definately do better. I guess lances really do beat swords... So I reverted to a neutral weapon (my bow) to take out the Moblins and some of the unarmoured Darknuts. I'll come back with a hammer and truly live up

    I stumbled upon one of the fairy islands that apparently didn't need an item to enter. Oh well, more rupees. Huzzah, now my magi-I mean I can pay off Tingle for all the maps in one go, I think.

    If it wasn't for all of those Miniblins, a good strategy for the second visit would be to snipe the Bokoblins on the searchlights from here. I don't know if it's time-efficient, but it's at least another way of getting things done.

    He got two attacks in because I tried sniping him whilst he was flying. It didn't work. Aren't bows strong on flying units?
