Is this the only way to get the bow, or do you get it for free at some point later in the game? Lol I'm so close to affording it, but not sure if I should just drop all those hard earned rupees on something that I could get free later.

    Yeah, this was back when Zelda games still made you save up your rupees to buy items rather than for just playing mini-games and doing side-quests! The bow could be optional though, it's been a while since I played LA, but I can't remember if you actually *need* it.
