    This is a good question. I should have asked it; I just got this game on Friday and I started off as a hunter. I don't know that was a good idea, but you have to start somewhere.

    I'd recommend one of the production classes as your first. They can make plenty of equips or consumables (and money) which will make your time easier in the later half of the game. Don't fret though, you can't pick a wrong class as your first as it's very easy to change life. ;)

    its best to be palidon first because it is fundemental to the main story line. after you are higher ranked than fledgling u should become aminer or tailor or hunter
