When did you start this game?! I have been utterly and completely obsessed with the other half of this game: the Super Mario Bros edition. I have already sunk 90+ hours of gameplay into this game and I picked it up less than 1 month ago. 90 hours is about double my 2nd most played game, which was 3D Land w/ 2 complete 5-glittering-star playthroughs. What I am trying to say is THIS GAME IS AMAZING!

  • I've been playing this game since August 1st. Quite personally, I find the Super Mario edition more frustrating. Since charging up Skills is based on how many turns pass rather than how many orbs you clear means that they're less likely to save you when things look desperate. The options available for Leader Skills in PaD:SME pales in comparison to those available in PaDZ. (cont.)

  • (cont.) I can't tell you how much help Carbuknuckle has been due to the boost in longevity provided by Prayer.

  • Also, I looked up Glaucus atlanticus (the blue dragon slug) and it turns out that Depth Faerie resembles a dragon slug more than I thought. Mainly due to design of the wings (even though it's a pair short) matching the cerata of the blue dragon slug.

Thanks for all of the great info! That will give me a leg up when I get started on PaDZ. I haven't started it yet so I don't have anything to compare it to. Looking at your Play Journal has got me really interested though! I beat PaD:SME proper, so I may start dinking with PaDZ. I'll make sure and have Carbuknuckle on my team!!
