    Try swapping out one of your monsters with orochi. The delay is long enough to make the boss's attack boosts wear off before he can attack. Also, at around 1/4 health he starts using an attack that deals a random amount of damage (I've seen it deal anything from 700 to 82,000), so you'll want to use orochi then.
