I tried Rain Maker for the first time before the rotation happened. Gotta say that it's kinda fun except that half the people on my team are really awful. The rain maker is hard to defend if people are running around instead of protecting you. I had one person run away and made a path for me, but as the rain maker I got splatted after they left. At least I got 20+ points and I'm making progress.
