-_-* would anyone be so kind as to tell me why i can't mine this or the dragon scab? i'm using a gold pickaxe. its for an adept level quest, and i'm already an expert. i don't understand, help please! >_<

    every time you level up do you ever level up strength?Cause that help's mining,and what skill level is your mining cause (you may already know this)the higher you get in the skill level the more you are better at it...don't know if that made sense...

    Just because it says it's for a lower leveled rank, doesn't necessarily mean it can be accomplished at that level. Try crafting a top quality Gold Pickaxe with an additional effect to help boost your damage. And try wear some gear that increases your Strength [and a bit of Focus too]. Or just come back later when you have more points into your Strength stat.

    here are my point stats. i do try to put most of them in magic...so i guess its my strength? well that's lame :/ and gonna be a real pain too..that actually makes me want to restart..again!

    don't restart...again?It's not worth it...why not just have a friend to come and play or something and while doing whatever ask someone to mine it and you cash in the bounty.

    Yeah, your Strength stat is far too low to be taking on the WaterWing Stone. The DragonScab is waaaayyy more difficult than the WaterWing. It's like an endgame boss for Miners. Wizards don't really need Strength, so this is understandable. I'd say just keep playing through the game and leveling up and try to distibute your stats more evenly, then come back later.

    If you don't mind waiting, I would recommend getting to master rank first and buying the mole pickaxe from the mole in the well next to the cabin on Mt. Snowpeak.

    Ya, thats just how i like to roleplay. I cant see a mage mining for materials, but i did it anyway cause i was trying to make a wand which was stupid of me..*sigh* I guess ill just stick it out, maybe talk to that mole guy, since im not too far now from unlocking origin And i really want to mine the dragon scab too..Ocd sucks so much..
