@Shadow, If Shadow the Hedgehog is an Assist Trophy in the game, he can't be turned into a playable fighter. You'll just have to wait till the next Smash Bros. game to see if Shadow the Hedgehog will be a playable fighter then in that new game.

Even if there's video games for them, they don't have anything to do with Nintendo and have no history with Nintendo.
