Judging by the posts here, I guess I'm a bit late to the Kukuro party. But that's not stopping me! My team was a double Asura team with an Orochi subbed in. Farm some SP off the first fight, then use dragon's lore on the second fight (and orochi delay if needed). On the boss, don't use a skill until he casts berserk, then delay him so you can take advantage of his lowered def.

    Bleh! I tried that strategy (but with Echidna) but I didn't come close to beating Anubisis and Basopheta (or whatever his name is).

    I was also late to this party.... but I beat him on mythical. I used a Divine team, with Mechid Ra-Naga and Kamui as leaders, and Shangri-La in the mixture as well.

    I still don't have him, so you're not that late. I'll probably try with Echidna after I level him though, since I still can't beat it.
