    stages are good, though annoying to play through 4 separate times to reach the end. The final boss was awesome though.

    the gameplay was fast, switching between characters was smooth, the music was amazing, the levels where fun, and the story was great. the only thing i didn't care for was the emerald stages, but fighting neo metal sonic makes it worth it.
