Another beautiful creation — the kind that forces you to spend your entire day crafting it, only to never actually use it once you're (finally) done… almost ten hours later :S Still though, it rules ;)

What additional material gives you base stats +5? I haven't seen that before.

None, actually — in order to receive special properties such as this you will simply need to craft something using a divine orb (Love, Bravery, or Wisdom — it doesn't matter which) while leaving your “Additional Materials” slot empty. Doing so will provide the item with a random effect — some of which are exclusive to this method of crafting (e.g., “Skill Charge Rate 30%”).

I feel I should also mention that regardless of whatever effect you end up receiving, you are always given the option to discard that effect and re-create the item without penalty. This way, you can craft the item indefinitely without wasting any additional orbs or materials. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask! :)

Right, I forgot about that. I never use divine orbs by themselves, because of the useless extra effects I got the first few times using them. (and also, I like knowing what I'm getting when making a hard craft, so I DON'T have to make it again.)

Huh, well I feel like an idiot! :S …lol… Anyways, I apologize for assuming that you were new to this game! :/ Truth be told, I only thought that because you asked about my (divine orb only) crafting effect — which is a type of thing everyone new to this game is always asking about — so it was just an innocent mistake! :)

Oh, and sorry about my terribly long instructional comments about crafting and whatnot; like I said, I thought you were brand new to this game, so I was only trying to be helpful… :/ lol. Now, i'm curious: Is it that you hate having to do the crafting mini-game repeatedly until you're satisfied — or is it that you keep getting terrible effects each time and it's REALLY annoying — or both? lol.

Both. Definitely. I can't stand doing hard crafts over and over again. And also, no matter how high my luck stat is, I can never get lucky in this game. Getting the elder log quests in woodcutter done was a pain in the neck!

Uh… Oh! You are referring to the Woodcutter Life challenges [Star-based] right? Like those “Harvest a Giant Divine log” kinds, right? lol. Honestly, I've never had too much of an issue with any gathering-based Life items or challenges; the only real exception being their God/Creator-level bosses — like Millennial Tree or Golem Stone — and even then they aren't really hard, just annoying :P lol.

Also, I agree completely with how you feel regarding high-level crafting of any kind :P lol. If there ever comes a time when you'd like some help with crafting something high-level and specific (like my Basic Skills +5 Demonic Dagger), then you're honestly more than welcome to let me know and I'll do my best to help you out with whatever I can. It's a frustrating experience for sure bro! :/ lol.

Yeah, I completely agree with you dude; truth be told, Miiverse could be great — but, sadly, they'll never allow it to become anything more than a joke :/ However, we can still post them — we just have to be a tad subtle about it, that's all :P lol.

Nope, never; but I do delete them once whoever I'm giving it to tells me they have written it down. Then they do the same for me. Actually the very first time I did it I just used actual numbers and nothing ever happened then either :S Still, I do try to be careful about it, which is why I make it a point to not spell out actual numbers —or even words— and just try to type it how it sounds ;) lol.
