    You get Chaos Emeralds by collecting every Red Star Ring in each world. You get DLC Stages by downloading them off the eShop. They're free! However, the Nightmare Zone can only be downloaded by entering a unique code on the eShop that comes with the Deadly Six Bonus Edition of the game.
